Tuscia is a rich territory north of Rome (70 Km. far), inhabited in ancient times by the etruscans and now corresponding to Viterbo’s province.
A land where you can find necropoleis, medieval villages and cities, villas and gardens of the Reinassance, volcanic lakes, thermal baths and a luxuriant nature.

MORNING - Guided tour of Viterbo, The “City of the Popes,” so named for hosting various popes during the thirteenth century, preserves the thirteenth-century quarter of San Pellegrino. Impressive is the square of the Plebiscite dominated by the Palazzo dei Priori. Of great magic the square of S. Lorenzo where you can enjoy the striking scenery of the thirteenth-century Papal Palace.

AFTERNOON - Guided tour of Palazzo Farnese di Caprarola. It is a magnificient late-Renaissance architecture of Vignola. Inside superb frescoes Mannerist school, while the wonderful park is a great tree-lined avenue, including fountains and gardens.
At the end, free tasting of typical local products like the well-known hazelnuts, olive oli, wine and others.

MORNING - Guided tour of Orvieto. It is an ancient etruscan city, lies over a tufa plateau. It is famous for its magnificient cathedral, one of the most impressive medieval buildings in Italy, with its wonderful façade. The St. Patrick’s well is another famous monument of the city.

AFTERNOON - Guided tour of Civita di Bagnoregio, Hometown of St. Bonaventure, it is connected to the world only by a long, narrow bridge built on a broad valley. It contains a cluster of medieval houses and a population of few families. An unforgettable scenery!
